Since the end of last year we know that the fifth Berlin Brettspiel-Con will take place at a new location on 19-21 July. At 7,000 square metres, "Station Berlin" offers twice as much space as before, and now one can see what this means for the size of the games fair: at the end of May, the mark of 50 exhibitors has already been surpassed after the organisers, YouTubers Hunter & Cron, had welcomed 44 publishers last year. Therefore the fifth Con counts ten times as many exhibitors as the first show, not considering shops, service providers and catering. The space is not yet fully booked, however, which is why additional companies may be added. As co-founder Johannes "Hunter" Jaeger reported, the former locations had always been very limited, which mostly prevented booth sizes over 30 square metres; at the new location, stands in the three-figure square metre range will now be seen for the first time.

Another premiere is an opening party on Friday evening for exhibitors, press representatives and owners of a limited badge. New "Community Playgrounds" are dedicated to YouTubers and bloggers from the gaming scene. Two "Gaming Nights" last until late into the night and are intended to underline the Brettspiel-Con's festival character its initiators are striving for, supporting almost continuous playing until Sunday. For the first time, an offshoot of the role-playing event "RatCon" will supplement the convention. All exhibitors registered so far can be found here, tickets are available here in advance.
