(th)

At the end of January, Nuremberg's International Toy Fair will take place for trade visitors, prompting publisher Pegasus Spiele to announce three new releases. One of them is My lil' Everdell by James and Clarissa A. Wilson: As the name suggests, this is a variant of the connoisseur game Everdell, accessible enough for children as young as eight. The core mechanisms of the basic game remain the same, but have been adapted to be family-friendly. In the valley of Everdell, the goal is to collect resources, participate in parades and build the most beautiful city. Resource dice change fields of the game board in each round. My lil' Everdell comes with a solo variant and also has the kindergarten expansion for the Everdell base game on board.

One of the SPIEL highlights in the Pegasus range was the expert game Revive by Kristian A. Østby, Helge Meissner, Anna Wermlund and Eilif Svensson, which will be released in German in 2023. 5,000 years after the end of civilization, each player determines the fate of their tribe and must discover the landscape on the frozen planet, finding survivors, constructing buildings and relearning lost technologies, while avoiding direct combat. Unique skills and action cards help in the five-part campaign.

The myths surrounding sunken Atlantis are the backdrop in the German edition of Orichalcum. Bruno Cathala and Johannes Goupy have turned the idea into a light-ish connoisseur's game, where up to four expeditions explore islands to find a new dwelling for Atlantis' stranded inhabitants. After landscape tiles have been laid out, action cards can be chosen. Whoever has the right resources may perform an additional action. Points are earned by building temples, forging medals from orichalcum, killing island monsters and gaining the favor of four Titans.

Pegasus hasn't announced exact release dates and prices yet.
