31.03.2025 - Das Wachstum der SPIEL DOCH! in Dortmund ist ungebremst. Circa 17.000 Besucher (2024: 15.800) reisten vom 28. bis 30. März zur Brett- und Kartenspielmesse auf dem Gelände der Messe Dortmund. Das Konzept der SPIEL DOCH!, allen Besuchern wieder entspanntes Spielen zu ermöglichen und besonders Familien anzusprechen, hat sich bewährt. Nicht zuletzt deshalb waren auch fast 190 Aussteller und Marken auf der Messe vertreten, darunter neben den großen und kleinen Verlagen auch Autoren, Flohmärkte, Künstler und Vereine.

Extrem war der Ansturm wieder am Samstag. Für 2026 will sich der Organisator w. nostheide verlag etwas einfallen lassen, um hier für Entzerrung zu sorgen. Die bereits dieses Jahr weiter vergrößerten Spielflächen kamen an ihre Grenzen. Über 750 Plätze standen zusätzlich zu denen an den Spieltischen der Aussteller zur Verfügung, die vor allem am Samstagmittag restlos besetzt waren.

Deutlich zugenommen hat auch die Anzahl der Familien unter den Besuchern. Diese nutzten das Angebot der SPIEL DOCH! gerade am Samstag und Sonntag. Die Besucher lobten die entspannte Atmosphäre mit den breiten Gängen ohne große Staus und reichlich Spielfläche sowie die Vielfalt an Ausstellern. Fest steht daher jetzt schon, dass die Fläche auch im nächsten Jahr wieder erweitert werden muss.

2026 findet die 7. SPIEL DOCH! in Dortmund vom 24. – 26.4. statt.

The growth of SPIEL DOCH! in Dortmund continues unabated. Around 17,000 visitors (2024: 15,800) attended the board and card game fair at Messe Dortmund from March 28 to 30. The concept of SPIEL DOCH! to once again enable all visitors to play in a relaxed atmosphere and appeal to families in particular has proven its worth. This was one of the reasons why almost 190 exhibitors and brands were represented at the fair, including authors, flea markets, artists and clubs in addition to large and small publishers.

The rush was extreme again on Saturday. For 2026, organizer w. nostheide verlag will come up with something to help alleviate the situation. The playing areas, which had already been further enlarged this year, reached their limits. Over 750 seats were available in addition to those at the exhibitors' gaming tables, which were completely full, especially on Saturday lunchtime.

The number of families among the visitors also increased significantly. They took advantage of the SPIEL DOCH! offer especially on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors praised the relaxed atmosphere with the wide aisles without major hiccups and plenty of playing areas as well as the variety of exhibitors. It is therefore already clear that the area will have to be expanded again next year.

In 2026, the 7th SPIEL DOCH! in Dortmund will take place from April 24 - 26.
